At Brassington Constructions, we describe what we do as a process

In between every 'before' and 'after' there are several stages...

1. First meeting and site inspection

Our Managing Director and Supervisor, Stephen, will organise a suitable time to meet you (where possible on site) to discuss your needs and hear your expectations. At this meeting he will listen to you to gain a more intimate understanding of your wants and needs. He will provide guidance and advice and then start to formulate a plan for your project.

If you have existing plans or have people you are especially looking to work with, we will happily work with them too.

2. Quotation

After your initial meeting with Stephen, he will begin to develop a quotation for you. In this quote he will not only include costing for the service he provides, but will consider other elements such as design, gaining council approval and engineering (as required). It is our policy at Brassington Constructions, to present you with a clear, up front budget. We do not inflate fees on external services such as designers and engineering and encourage you to seek other quotes for peace of mind.

When you are satisfied with the quotation, we will invite you to sign a HIA approved contract, the contract will include a mutually agreeable plan for progress payments and work schedules. Allowances are made at this stage for basic product selections, adjustments may be made to quotations at a later time, when clients have made their final product selections. When considering selections at the initial time of quoting, our pricing allows for a good quality, basic, builders range of products. With accounts at various trade outlets in and around Adelaide, you are sure to achieve the look you desire, however,  you may opt to source your own products, in which case,  your quote will be amended accordingly.

3. Approvals

Once we have signed a contract, the ‘planning’ stage of the project will begin. This is where we will work with the design team, engineers and council. This may not be necessary for every project. At this stage, it is customary to begin making any selections for bathrooms, kitchens and cabinetry as some items may take weeks to manufacture and order.

4. Construction

Now that we have all the necessary approvals, construction begins! Stephen will be on site everyday, overseeing each facet of the construction. He will bring in small, specialised teams, teams that we have worked with on many projects. At Brassington Constructions, we have set a certain level of quality and we only invest in trades that can meet our high standards. You will have access to Stephen at any time and he will hold regular meetings with you to keep you up to date and informed at all times.

5. Handover

On completion of the project, we will meet with you and you will be presented with any product information, warranties as well as any certificates required and finally, a notice of completion.
